Those are some awesome pics teej.

Got a call last night from a guy who hunts the property next to the one I got the doe on Saturday. He asked if he could get a buck that he had shot. Turns out it dropped 10 yds from my stand.

I have pics but for some reason tapatalk won't let me upload them. Says that it is an action the admin won't allow.

no muskingum county. The kids were idiots, following each other with broadheads swinging everywhere. They went right up thru a bedding area I was hunting beside and heard about 3 or 4 deer blow at em and that's when I decided to peace out.

After seeing the potential for an ESE wind on Monday and that Thursday may not be a down pour, I'm leaning to starting vacation Thursday and letting Monday be what it will be.

Been on stand since 5:30 busted one on the way in, took off but didn't blow.....

Had a doe come thru at 7 and a small basket racked 5 point about a half bout later following her trail....

About 4" minutes ago had a small 7 point walk under my stand... Had a bunch of weeds hanging from his rack..... Looked like he was coming from a bob Marley concert lol....

I think a train hit a deer last night, there's about a 100 crows up there going wild... Been like that since daybreak....

I saw a doe come out across from me at 8a then walk up the fence line & disappear. At 9a, 3 good size does came from the Lot down below & start to walk over, but didn't like something. They went up where the 1st doe had been & where I have my cams then ran back into the lot the way they came. I dunno if a buck was with them or not.

I had a nice buck come in at the crack of dawn this morning. It stood at 20 yards for about 10 minutes, finally getting light enough out for me to see his rack. I don't know why but I never even grabbed my bow. I was thinking that he was a borderline shooter for me, but as he left and it got lighter out I immediately started second guessing myself. He ended up smelling my boot tracks after he left my stand and high tailed it out of there, probably never to be seen by me again. Danngit. I climbed down to vote, and am getting ready to eat lunch and head back to another stand.

More recap!!! The guy cleaning my deer calls and says he found my whole arrow in the deer. He tells me he skinned out the whole deer and sees nothing but as he is putting it in the cart the deer bends and the broadhead pokes out the back. He asks if i was in a stand and i say no i was on the ground and tell him the story. He says its got dates written on it and i tell him that is my third deer with the same arrow. He says dude you got to put this in the trophy case. He said the arrow ran right next to the spine. I shoot the deer far back as hes turned to the left a little in the middle of his body and the arrow ends up along the spine. Must have hit a main artery before it made it that far. I went looking for the arrow this morning because of it maybe backing out or the deer pulling it. The skinners tells me he has found all kinds of broadheads and bullets in deer but never the whole arrow Or bolt which is what it is. Can't believe it and just wanted to share this with you guys!!! Like i said before Damn i love deer hunting!!!!

Saw five, all under my stand while I hid in the crp. Before sunrise there were a couple of deer fighting out in the field followed by a grunting deer that came by me in the crp - too dark to see anything then.

Man how pitiful am I, today is the first time I've been sitting in a tree this year. It sure feels good to have a perfect wind on a stand I have high hopes for. Good luck to anyone else that's out this evening.
