I'm in my pop up bundled in my BHSuit. Had a doe come out of the Lot & walked right by at 0635. A scrawny 6 pointer followed suit a 1/2 hour later.
Join the club dude. I try to do everything right and when I'm on our farm, it becomes a black hole. Same shit, different year. I texted my dad and told him I'd help clear brush around the pond this afternoon. I'm gonna drink beer and hang with my old man. That's more fun for me right now. Oh, and I miss duck season!!!
What week in November last year did your buddy get a crack at Jack? I say enjoy anytime you get to spend with the old man and clear your head, and hit it again in a couple days.

I didn't see a thing this AM. Moved a camera over a new scrape, look forward to pulling the card tomm evening. I'll be back in the stand tonight, then Myles's baptism tomorrow. Mother Nature should could play a little nicer and knock this wind down!

Very nice buck man! Depends on how long of hunt your on and what other bucks run the property. Still something to be proud of though! He has a huge body and nice rack. Good luck out there!
