The TOO Live Hunt and Recap Thread: 2013 Edition

Blew the crosshairs out of my scope on the crossbow and let the air out of my sails....

Actually looking forward too gun hunting and putting meat in the freezer and moving on too bunny hunting... Just wasn't the season for me is all..... Move on too next year and see what happens... Lots of up and comers for next season so it's all good.... Bring on the bunnies lol

I saw the forecast and didn't even bother to set the alarm. Was still awake by 4:00. Sitting here sipping coffee thinking about getting the blind out. Lol. Just kidding, the wind is supposed to really kick up later.

I am scheduled off monday too, but I am thinking about saying fugg it and go to work. Maybe see if I can switch to the monday after thanksgiving.

Dante I think that's a good plan. Wish I had an extra day off for opening day lol!
 
I slept in. Stopping by the old mans house to grab the Kubota, then heading out to check/move cams and hang some sticks for next weekend. Do a little scouting as well.
 
Im kinda mad i took the easy way out this morning as it stopped raining about 7:15. While its still breezy, i hate losing stand time on weekends.

I say kinda mad, because this is just as good.

Good move, Adam! Great weather for a family day. We are dropping by the taxi on the way to Mom's for a fish fry. Perfect weather for it! :)
 
Good stuff either way 5cent! I am looking outside and thinking "It doesn't look that bad". haha I won't get a chance to hunt until possibly next Saturday unless I do some midday hunts. Not sure what to think. Might head out later but 20-25mph winds aren't real inviting. Might ground hunt and swap some camera cards in the rain gear.
 
Yep, my buddy skipped this morning down there as well. Said he's throwing the towel in and coming back up to Michigan today too. Frustrating season for him this year.

5Cent that is priceless!! Don't miss out on that stuff either!!
