I've been working on a pro forma to build a 100,000 sf industrial building. The supplier has issued 8 price increases since November when the price per ft2 was $60. It's now $125 per ft2. New constructs will be slowed to complete stop in the next few months until things recover. Steel beams are at a one year lead time, up from 6-8 weeks as of November.

It's already started...we are at an extreme crawl. Not many people left. This sucks.

WTF is driving these prices?!

My buddy needed a 2x12x20. $120. For ONE board! It's crazy.

@Buckmaster I want that guys job in my retirement years. Looks satisfying. Correction: I don't want his job. I just want to fill in for a half day here and there. Lol

16+hrs in a skid steer was worth its weight in gold this weekend:

Shooting backstop:
- 2 big stumps and 28 leftover poles and fill dirt moved to be repurposed.

Excess dirt from driveway install redistributed:

I haven't used a harley rake since high school, man they are a great tool to have around. I highly recommend to anyone trying to level/smooth/clean up an area to give it a look!

Looks amazing brother. Nice job. Those Harley rakes are worth their weight in platinum. You simply can’t leave a better finished product with any other piece of equipment. I will likely be renting a tracked skid steer and Harley rake sometime this summer. I have so spots to level out in the yard and I also want to get some more stone hauled in to topdress part of the driveway.

Agreed JB. I was hoping to plant this past weekend but the cold snap this week pushed it to next. I'll drag it before and after and hope for the best for a spring planting lol. Schumacher needs to finish staining the porch and front door to its final dark color, should make it pop.
