TOO Weight Loss - Biggest Loser Edition

Approx. 600 calories burned via workout today, more yesterday (Garmin watch connected to MyFitnessPal app), doesnt include weight sessions. Just finished dinner, still need 1K more to just meet 0.5lbs/week loss daily total, but I'm full. Macros a little off target but not horrible. No need to wait until February @finelyshedded, get it get it!

Forgot to check in Tuesday, mostly because I was in a fog with the winter crud. Seem to have kicked everything but some chest congestion at this point. The worst thing about being sick is if I take cold and flu meds, I get an insatiable appetite and tend to eat like a glutton. Despite caving for my favorite post-sickness food (Mickey D's), I held strong. I was down to 226 on Tuesday, so 13 total since New Year's. If I can get to 15-18#s lost by month's end, I'll be happy.

I crashed out this weekend and it cost me progress and 3#s. I'd only had 10 beers before Friday and had 18 over the weekend. I'd eaten 90% clean, then had pizza and oreos as a result of opportunity and lack of restraint. I rebounded to 229. Had a great workout Monday and am back on track. Just a little bump in the road, but I didn't let it throw me off course. Back to the grind!

Just keep moving, and a couple days here and there have minimal/no impact. One thing my journey has shown me is how much wasted time I had in a day. I find it VERY hard to say honestly to myself that I don't have 1hr. to work on me. That 1hr. allows so much more flexibility in diet/fun days off. Get it fellas! You can pretend that you care, but you can't pretend that you're there.

Been busier than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest, and I'm getting my ass kicked! I'm down from 239 to 225 at this point. Not where I wanted to be, but progressing. January was better than December and February was better than January, despite not losing much weight this month. Body comp has changed a bit and I feel like the first plateau is over. I got a little stagnant on exercise during that cold spell, but have had a great couple of weeks since it broke. My goal was to be under 220 by April, so I'm still on pace to meet that. Ideally, I'm back to 210 by the summer shoot.

The best thing I've done is cut my alcohol intake by 80% or better. I'm only drinking beer on Friday and Saturday, with an occasional tequila or bourbon pour through the week. I'm sleeping better, my GERD and heart burn symptoms are gone, and I'm setting a better example for the girls. All that said, I can't wait to grab 12'r tonight and get after it 😂
