Nothing like the country and with all the shitty weather anything involving excavating is going to take some time.

Seems like there’s a ton of work going on around this county since we’ve moved in. Schumacher has them tied up around us as there’s a lot of houses starting up. There’s been multiple farms sold since we’ve moved down here that are getting subdivided up. A 14 acre tract is in the process of getting plotted out up the road. Not sure how many homes are going in there. Schumacher trucks have been there daily on that site as well as others around here.
So far I’ve focused on local companies. Might have too reach out a little further.

They’ve been slowly putting in a neighborhood across the creek from me. Middle class homes so I’m not real upset about it. In the summer time it’s fun to hear the kids playing in the creek from my back porch. Something I’m sure that’ll take on more meaning as mine grow older.

It’s going too get interesting in the next few years. There was a 245 acre and a 158 acre sale about 2 miles as the crow flys from us. Developers from what I’ve heard. Most of the developments around here are well hidden from view of the road and have entrances with large stone signs with the name of it on it.

We knocked out a couple projects yesterday, somewhere along the road the previous owners had hit the garage door a couple times and did a poor job of straightening it up. Door seal was in bad shape so we pulled it apart and did some TLC too it and now it’s back too somewhat normal looking 😂 Kevin has OCD when it comes too this kind of stuff and looks like new actually 😂
The shed had a soft spot in the floor, it was located where the soon too be zero turn would be sitting. So we cut out a large section and replaced it. Did some beefing up while we were at it. We were going too add some shelving, but I plan on moving the shed so that’ll come at a later date. But we got it to where it’s usable and rearranged some of the contents for the new arrival.
Wife came up with a killer recipe for meatloaf and we chowed down on that then hit the recliners and broke the seal on a Jim Beam bottle. Came out this morning too let the dog out and someone must have snuck in after going too bed and polished off the last of that bottle 😂😂😂
Kevin’s heading back too Ohio this morning. He’ll be back down in March for an extended stay. In the meantime I’ll rest my liver up for the return trip 😂
