What's good TOO?

Glad to hear you had such a Great Day with the twins. They sure do grow up fast...... Everyone should enjoy them when they are little. You blink and they're grown up.
 
Good to hear Ricer! Sounds like a couple of first class American boys you raised!!!

What's good here? Our little girl has been doing great and we are actually getting a decent amount of sleep. Her first doctors appointment was last Thursday and she was ahead of schedule with her weight gain and had grown a full inch in 10 days. She's been an absolute joy and I'm one proud dad!!!

Also good... I am up early today to hit a duck hunting spot I found that's on the way to where I've been working when I'm in the field. This is my first ever solo hunt. My spot, my calls, my dekes, just me shooting. If I kill something, it'll be one of the best highlights of my hunting career.
 
Glad to hear the baby is fine Jesse. Ric is right.... You'll have good day's and bad days. The bad day's are still good~~Just takes a week or so to realize it sometimes......

So very true. But the nice thing about it is that you will remember the good days way more than the bad and the great days you will never forget. Before long you will be coaxing your little one to get up and walk and it will seem like the next day you will be yelling at him to quit running through the house. Yes, it happens that quick. Enjoy every minute ya can!

Isn't that the truth! One day coddling them and holding them ever so delicately, the next day you are yelling at them to turn off the electronic devices (currently on a Kindle Fire kick in our house) and pick up their shoes and coats they dropped at the door. Sure feels good though.

Heading back out with my Dad today. Ground is pretty firm. Hopefully firm enough to drive an 8200lb skid loader across it with a 2.5yd bucket full of firewood half a dozen times. Wood is cut and stacked. We are going to try to get the piles out of the woods, into the dump truck, and back to high ground where I can split it. Worst case scenario, we cannot drive the skid loader and are forced to use the tractor bucket. Even so, we will be getting some firewood done today and I get to enjoy the time with my Dad in the woods.
 
I added a new tail light to my truck's hitch today ....

My box from Cabelas showed up which means a shit ton of new waterfowl gear is here! I'm officially self sufficient to hunt ducks as long as I don't need a boat! I still need a layout blind and some floater geese and I'll be ready to rock! Got a little John boat to fix up and all is good!!!
 
One of my Reservists went for a Commissioning board over the weekend and found out yesterday afternoon he was selected..... Good kid and I couldn't be prouder of his accomplishments..... He had a lot of strikes against him and he overcame all the obstacles and finished his degree and now will be going too Officers Training School and the off too Maintenance Officers course..... He will be the Officer in charge of a different section but still in Aircraft Maintenance and the Senior NCO's working under him are top notch and very knowledgeable and will not let him down..... Couldn't be happier for him.....

By the way I'm 2 for 2 on people in my shop seeing a board and getting commissioned...... :smiley_coolpeace:
