Bring the muzzle loader. Worst case scenario? It stays in your vehicle. Best case? You get it dialed in and maybe learn something.

I have a trap gun. I have never shot trap. I'm willing to buy some clays off someone. Not sure where you would even get them around here. Would Dunham Sporting Goods have them? Never looked for them.

I am looking forward to sighting in a new gun as well. I will be a rolling arsenal. Lol

Based on when most everyone is showing up, there's a chance we do two quad trips. Maybe one on Friday late afternoon and one Saturday late morning. Some guys are arriving early Saturday and they are hoping to ride.

With that said, somehow we will fit everything in. Saturday afternoon looks like when we will do the 3d shoot and the trap shooting. By then the youths should be cleared out of there and we can haul our gear down that way in our trucks or on the quads... whichever you prefer. Plenty of parking at the trap range which is also the entrance to the 3d range.

Something that crossed my mind this morning... Those of you riding may wanna bring some baby wipes or something to wash your faces after. The first part of the trail is dusty until we hit the creek bottom. Then it's all mud! That dust caked on the face makes for some great raccoon-like pics. Also, in case we do two rides, you may wanna throw in a little extra gas in your truck bed. It's about a 20 mile ride, but never know where we may sidetrack to.

Just some things to think about.

Those who wanna shoot at the rifle range, it's fair game anytime. I'll show ya where it is and have at it.

I was thinking about bringing my muzzle loader. I know its pain in the ass having to clean it out after shooting for awhile. I really need to get my scope sighted it. I didnt prepare enough last year. Should i bring it, maybe somebody help about the muzzle loader? I dont know a whole lot about the muzzle loader. I figured if i bring it it would save me time, money and get that scope sighted in time.

I'm planning on bring my muzzy and my AR and spending some quality time at the range

It's safer back at camp anyways......

Try to keep that "liquid courage" away from yourselves while riding fellas.
My best friend died down there in Cadiz....not far from where you'll be riding. He rolled his Artic Cat Thundercat 1000 over himself and crushed his skull. He died in the Pittsburgh hospital hours later from brain hemorrhage. His last ride was in a helicopter medevac.

I'm gonna minimize the beer stops so we don't take too long away from camp and for that very reason. Don't wanna have a bad experience for anyone.

There's a few really cool spots for beer breaks. Usually one beer stops. Gotta maintain anyway... Long lights ahead of us. Lol

Exactly!

Every so often I think if I had been there I could have changed the outcome. I had more sense than my buddy. I ended up at Deer Camp working that weekend meanwhile my buddy died 20 miles down the road.

.....and back to the story......TOO Campout, Convention, Sword Fight Challenge, etc......
