Keep it up guys. I am fortunate. I struggle to put on weight. I don't say this to rub it in. I type in here to let you know I check in on occasion. WHy? Just because someone isn't overweight doesn't mean they are as healthy as they could be. My knees (and lack of desire) prevented me from doing any running or cardio. I've been taking glucosamine for a little over a year and it has been great. I need to start doing something for my cardio. This thread gives me ideas. Thanks!

I know myself and a few others that are well over the “overweight” (that the doctors say is healthy) that’ll put on a clinic to bunch of skinny people when it comes to work. I’ve preached fat and happy since you guys have known me. Truth is, I wasn’t always this round😂. I’ve put on 60lbs in the last 5 years. I’d like to end up around 185-190 and hold that. I have zero interest in being “skinny”. I do have interest in being able to do my job effectively.

When I went from 240 to 180, I reached the point of "diminishing returns" because I'd lost all the lead in my ass. 195-205 is my sweet spot. I'm still a touch chubby, but not full on dad bod and I much stronger. I'm not into the Olive Oil look 😂

Its amazing what time away from harder labor or I'm assuming lifting weights does to your body. I laid block on a job for about 8 months straight lost 30lbs and felt like King Kong. I was on a baby brick job for the last 4 months and I'm now getting back into some block and big stone and feel like a trains hit me. Waking muscles back up sucks. I'd be morbidly obese if I had an office job.....

A masonry laborer is one of the top 5 reasons I finished college. Anytime I thought about skipping class multiple times a week, I thought of that job. Did it for 2 summers after HS and freshman yr of college. Tons of respect for all involved. Best night's sleep I can recall having those 2 summers though.

Kinda funny, BIL found this picture in the attic of the house we used to rent at the farm. It's coming up on 20yrs. Laugh all ya, want its hiding under there! Now if I just had the motivation to get it back....ain't fuckin happening 🤣

Alright after eating very unhealthy food yesterday and the last few months, healthier food choices need to start back up today! Also I've got to get back into drinking enough water. Supposed to drink a 2liter a day. Springs coming time to shed a bit of winter weight......

After a big breakfast and lunch, fully dressed I just came in at 197.1

Looks like I’ve hit that slow down I know was coming. I knew the first 20-25 would fall off pretty easily. I’m gonna cheat pretty hard the next couple of days and then get a little more serious about dropping this weight. I still feel the same at this point and I’m looking for that change. I might even try the fasting that Jesse does Monday.

Started the intermittent fasting Monday. Lived it up super bowl Sunday. Started @206 (the heaviest I’ve ever been) and weighed myself this evening and cracked the 195 lb mark where I was @ in November. I think I’ll try for the 185 lb range as I was there for 20+ years. That’s where I feel my best as well...
