There are of downstream impacts of this quite literally, and figuratively. We have 50 miles of rail in our county and it's absolutely vital to our local manufacturing economy. I figured hazmat spill experts who have advanced degrees in chemical engineering or whatever weighed their options, its just crazy to think that the best option is to release them into the atmosphere. You would think they would have created a better solution somehow over the 20 to 30 years with the advancements in science.

We missed the rain today, it sprinkled here but nothing showed in my gauge, it measures to the hundredth. The forecast for today was for 3/4 inch. 2 tenths is forecast for tomorrow. It’s very fortunate we haven’t had a quarter inch since the accident.
