    Coon Be Gone

Well the local coon are probably now avoiding the piles now that you've made the pile a danger spot. Thats why we dont set right on the piles if we want to get all the coon

    Snares (Bulk Order)

Not true. The break even point is around 4-5 dozen snares. Haven't bought components lately and with prices going up on everything, so it may be over 5 now. Probably have enough components for a few hundred left

How to find somebody to teach me hunting skills

Might want to check out your county conservation club. They tend to be populated with older guys and some of em cant even hunt anymore. The clubs are oriented around education so they would probably have someone that could help you out

    Micro SD card issues

What cards are you using? Many trailcams are picky about what brand cards you use. Spypoint its pretty much SanDisk only

    Snares

Pretty much the same if I remember right. Had both sets of his videos and books at one point... not sure what I did with half of em because they're missing. Hal was one of the main reasons we got snares legal in Ohio and a couple other states

    Saddle hunter dies.

Hated to hear this. It has created a bit of a stir in the saddle hunting community. Sad that his wife is going through this but she gets a lot of credit for getting the details of the accident out as best as she ccan. Anytime you're in a tree you're in a bit of a predicament. Started saddle...

    Nuisance trapping

Only way to not catch possums in traps is to not set traps. Im sure the stupid things would find a mouse trap to get into and sit there looking at you in the morning! As far as what to do with em, you need to dispatch them. You can move them off site to do so but you can only release a live...

    Pawpaw season

Also depends on if its an actual seedling or a runner. The runners dont have a root at all, just the remains of the runner after digging it up. I havent tried this but ive had people recommend cutting the runners then come back next fall to dig it up to encourage better rooting.

    Pawpaw season

Generally 5-8 years depending on what it has to deal with. Seems like pawpaws at trunk if you wrap your hand around the trunk and fingers touch its too young. Have found wild pawpaws that produced fruit at half inch diameter. If you graft the trees, it cuts the time down by almost half.

Field dress to processor in hot weather

If you have a garage or at least a handy tree you can through rope over for a gambrel and an empty enough fridge..you can have it skinned, deboned, and in the refrigerator inside an hour.

    Pawpaw season

Youll get an odd fruit or two but not get a loaded tree. Probably the fastest way to get fruit and genetic diversity for your trees is to graft them. Hit some of my honey holes this weekend and if there were dropped fruit the deer/coon/possum got em. Picked several off trees that were ripe. And...

Recommendations on home quality all in one printers.

Its possible if you don't print for long periods of time. If you only print a couple of pages a month, you're probably better off getting a laser or a regular cartridge inkjet if it looks like you'll never hit the break even point for the Epson

Recommendations on home quality all in one printers.

Epson ecotanks. Bit pricier upfront but you'll save a ton on ink later.

    Looking for DP Duke Traps

Well you missed a good opportunity to buy them in Lima last week at the national trappers convention. You can get them at rural king and some other places that sell hunting gear. There's two big trap supply vendors in Ohio, Sterling Fur and Northern Sport Co(Molnar's). Prices from the trap...
