Sat this afternoon up a deep ravine that dumped into Sunday Creek on Wayne National. Along a pine to hardwoods area. Lots of sign, recent tracks in snow. Was my first sit at this spot, moving deeper towards bedding next hunt.

Where will this be? Have to check baseball schedules (2). Sounds fun!

First day muzzleloader hunting my home land. Walking in found new fresh rubs, couple of scrapes freshened up. Only seen 4 does this morning. Out to sit until 5, have to quit early tonight.

We got it done tonight. Youngest was on stand with me. Was awesome he stopped the buck. The trophy was the experience. He’s ecstatic! Small buck, meat in freezer and didn’t hurt our doe herd (needs to grow). Field to table, 2 hours, back straps and tenderloin for dinner.

Weather!!? This is crazy, way to warm! I love cold muzzleloader season. This is like October. Anyone having much luck? Saw 21 turkeys yesterday in Wayne National. No deer. Only heard 3 shots entire day. Hunting private tonight close to home... hope to see something.

Drove home (Athens) from work in Grove City this morning. Deer, mostly does in a lot of fields cruising wood lines. Merry Christmas y’all!
