I use PSA for almost everything. I plan to use hand loads and see what results I can get.
Most people can't shoot 1" groups even if the gun can.

I bet the Hornady loads are great as usual but we will see. I dont expect the $8.99 Winchester to do under an inch. Not a fan of many Winchester loads/Components anyway.

Grouped all different.350 loads at 1.50” @ 100 yards. Various weights didn’t matter at 100..golf ball groups.

Giles, I’ve never seen a bullet with that much blood splatter ... I mean laid his ass out badly. It was devastating..

I just don't like a bullet that fragments, if that is what happened., I prefer a bullet that stays in one piece and makes two holes in a deer. A bullet that stays together just provides for more forgiving shot locations. You can shoot through the ribs, shoulder bone, stem to stern or the other way and know you are going to get maximum penetration.
I realize a lot of guys like bullets that expend all of the energy in the deer and don't create two holes, I'm just not one of them. If a situation arises where I want to anchor an animal where it stands by taking the high shoulder bone shot I want a bullet that allows me to do that. I'm sure you remember all of the posts about very poor bullet performance of the 250 gr. shockwaves fragmenting. I have zero concern about the caliber being more than capable of doing everything it needs to do, I also know that not all bullets are created equal for performance on the animal which is really what all of the work, time and money is about upfront. After all of that to get the shot opportunity I want to do everything I can to make sure I have bullet construction that leads to the desired results with the highest percentage of success.
I need to note that I have ZERO knowledge of what bullets are being used in the various factory offered ammunition and their designed performances. I was only commenting on observed bullet performance on a deer earlier in the thread.
