Very nice Sam! I am not to gun savy so ignore the stupidest of the question. Why two triggers on a bolt action?

It's a double set trigger. Similar to the ones you often see on traditional muzzleloaders. The front one is the trigger, you can just use it like a normal trigger. The back one is the set, pull it til it clicks and then the front trigger is a hair trigger.

Wow Sam. Very nice!

And how many rounds did you get?

I have dies, brass and bullets. I also have bases, rings and a Leupold 2-7 scope. And to make it even more special I have a new bolt shroud with a side swing safety ( like a Win 70)

I just have no time right now to play with it :(

Yes Charles 6.5x55

P.S. I will have it at the Lima gunshow this weekend if anyone wants to stop by and fondle it in person. Not for sale as it's a keeper.

This is my Ruger .357. It has a 6 inch barrel so it is deer legal, but I don't hunt with it. I keep it around (always loaded with hollow points) for protection and nuisances.

I've used it on daytime raccoons, a couple of snakes, an aggressive Rottweiler and one trouble-making neighbor! :smiley_crocodile::smiley_coolpeace:
