Funny you mentioned the 6.5x55. I'm in on a group buy on another forum. We found an importer willing to order lefthand Zastava Mausers. Lot of calibers offered. I went back and forth between the 6.5 and 7x57. I finally ordered mine in the 6.5, figured I'd never get a chance at another like it. Btw i ordered with the double set triggers.

After a 6 month plus wait I just got the call they arrived the the wholesaler in Vegas. My dealer is faxing the FFL and I should have it early next week. WOOHOO!

Yeah it is small. I wanted another pocket carry and the Kahr won out. I tried it, the Beretta Nano, and Kimber Solo. When the Springfield XDS9 comes out I will try it and maybe give it a whirl.

I didn't have any issue with the 40 flipping. This one is a bit faster on target but not by much. The switch was to just consolidate calibers.

Might as well post it up. Looking forward to shooting this one and eventually carrying it. For reference I stacked my Airweight on top of it and took pics of them side by side. I figure what is better than a 5 shot revolver in 38? Duh, a 10 shot 45. Lol

After a wait of over 6 months the Zastava Mauser showed up this evening. The wood finish is pretty plain but that's an easy fix this winter.
