Wow thanks for the info, man. Would you recommend that I use all white clover, or a 50/50 mix of red and white. Also which type of white clover do you have the best luck with?

This is the ticket. I lean toward Ladino when I can find a good price. It tends to have a larger leaf which produces greater tonnage.

I think arrowleaf is another popular clover, I am sure there is a difference of palatability between them all, but for the most part I just stick with either a BOB seed or mix ladino with something else haha.

He went and picked it up at lunch today, so it saved me that $75 I was planning on spending on renting one this weekend!!!
Checked on my plots tonight as I was a little worried I may have skimmed on RoundUp when I sprayed. They are brown and ready to plant! I just wish I could plant tomorrow with the rain coming on Friday, but it will have to wait. Looking forward to Saturday when we plant and I finish hanging stands.

Seriously dude I realize that your time and priorities are going to change quickly but you could easily make some $ with your knowledge and now equipment puttin food plots in for people. Or even tilling gardens in the spring.
Managed to get both plots done today without any major issues. I have some concern about the amount of dead vegetation on the larger plot, but I don't have a drag and we did the best we could with it. We packed it well and should have gotten solid seed to soil contact across the entire plot. I'll have a harrow drag before we do this again. Having legit equipment to do this is truly the cats ass. I definitely owe my dad big time!!!
