Good luck to everyone. Getting ready to board a plane for weekend in Baton Rouge. Should be fun but honestly wishing I was climbing in a stand with these cool temps.

The wind is shifting a lot but it does cover up your movements. I had 2 does come in as I was climbing my ladder. I got in the tree and pulled my bow up while they were only 25 yards away. Unfortunately no buttons on either one.

2 small does just snuck through, still 2 hours till dark... this could get interesting.
I came here straight from work. Wiped down with unscented baby wipes, and changed into smoked up camo I keep sealed in a tote. I expected them to get skiddish when they crossed my trail and got downwind, but they didnt. An older smarter deer wouldn't make that mistake.

I'm out. He was here Sat. twice but the farmers spooked him. He comes down the fence tonight....he is going to the house!

I'm hunting a hedgerow with corn beans, alfalfa surrounding me. Erie county
In a new set I put in this year about 10 yards into a stand of pines right on the edge of a marsh and small hardwood lot. Overlooking a convergence of 3 trails. These pines are absolutely knocking down the wind like I hoped. First sit here and I’m liking it 
I wish you luck and hope you enjoy the month off. But i must say i hope you stub your toe in the morning. Just once.

Lone doe came through right at 7:00, checked out my mock scrape and fed on through at 20 yards. She can keep doing that until late November, fine by me

I am out. I’ve had a cough for 2 weeks and finally feeling better.
When I saw the forecast earlier this week I knew I was due for a vacation day.
I'm out TOO. Gonna sit for a few hrs & soak up the smell & sounds of the woods. No expectations other than wanting to see some movement. Good luck !
I’m out, on field edge. Windier than I had hoped for. Corn was just cut yesterday. 2 doe and two young ones came through in woods so far.
