No dice. Got a nice walk thru a 20 acre CRP field. No blood. No dead buck.
Didn’t you drop something last year and one of us found it? Might be time for a bigger pack that everything fits inside. (If I was going to suggest one, it would be a condor 3 day assault pack or similar.)

My Primos Gen 3 stick was about $80 thus mine is wrapped with survey tape.Good deal, wrap that fugger with some surveys tape for the next time
Yep, I’d tie balloons too it as well for that price
Fugger should of come with a locator beacon as well

No shit!! Sounds like my season so far. Out all day Monday on 2 different properties only saw 1 deer. I'll be back at it Friday and weekend. Good to all who are out.
Heard some shooting laying in bed this morning. I felt like crap so didnt go to work. Went to lowes ordered countertops bought a new sink and faucet. So woman is happy, for now. Just got home, nothing out asking for a slug in the yard today. Found a bag of apples in an old drawer, they still have their shape but I sniffed em and wow smelled like alcohol. So hell, I put em up on top the hill for the deer. Maybe they'll eat em all get nice n drunk so I can sneak up close and actually hit one tonight. That is unless I fall asleep and miss prime time window checkin.
Heading out too hunt with a buddy. Hopefully we’ll see some movement.

Windy AF but I have a kid that plays football for Toledo ask to hunt, he could only hunt a couple afternoons this week so here we are lol. On the bright side he's an offensive lineman so if I kill one of the big ones he won't have a problem dragging it out

Smidge windy. Tree is rocking and rolling. Tell my wife and kids I love them if it snaps.
Debated woods or field edge due to wind. Tried to think like a deer. No trees falling in the field. Might have chosen poorly but the turkeys are out.

Usually a lot windier on one side of the woods up that way. That was always my tactic anyways. Hunt the downwind side.
The time is coming boys, get ready! The apples seem to be working. Just paused my movie to go window checking and caught the 11 point slipping out that I shot earlier this year with the bow but did not kill. Hes gonna be real nice next year.
