Buddy of mine told me about a website “how to bbq right”. He’s got stuff for sale also, along with recipes. I’m sure I’ll try a couple of his rubs but also want opinions of what everyone here uses. After trying a few, I’m sure I’ll have my favorites.👍
I've made a number of the recipes from the How to BBQ Right website and they are damn good. I've also made a number from Hey Grill Hey, also pretty solid. Project Smoke and any other books from Steven Raichlen are worth it too. As for seasonings/rubs, I mix a lot of my own but have also had pretty good luck with Spiceology (the MeatEater crew has a number of wild game blends on there).

I took the brisket off at 4:05 pm…internal temp was at 157 degrees and it should’ve been 160….seems like it reached a plateau and wasn’t going any higher. I wrapped it in foil and put it back in…supposed to reach an internal temp of 204 degrees in 3-4 hours.
