Only deer I've seen was a doe running through the crp 100 yards away. Didn't see anything chasing her.
Good luck out there TOOzers! Had to take care of work crap this morning. Going to rock it out and walk in late. Then need to leave early for kid obligations in afternoon. Some hunting is better than none I suppose.

Sitting on the middle of 3 ridge tops. Open hardwoods with good visibility. Been seeing deer every sit umtil yesterday afternoon and zip so ar today. Not sure whats going on.
I screwed up and switched my day off from today to tomorrow. Tomorrow is supposed to have shitty winds again. Oh well... it's November! It can happen anytime, right?

Nothing my way yet. Neighbors hound was out in the hillside howling it up earlier. Dumbasses have been told not to let it run.
Put out some deer farm estrous and there are two small bucks about to loose their minds. Right under me grunting. Lol

Finally got settled, fortunately I had topos of the area and there's a creek bed with 4 hollers coming into it. First time ive ever stepped foot here and one holler is crazy thick I'm praying she's a bedding area. Was a long haul back here kinda like a little adventure lol

This blows!! I cant belive the wind finally dies down the day I have to go back to work!! What a waste of time off. I cannot believe the whole week I did not see any deer, but two little 1 1/2 yr old does.
Had 2 doe come in and one was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Pretty funny stuff.
Still nothing for me either. It sounds like some farm equipment running in the distance, hopefully it's a combine picking some corn across the street. Hoping for late morning/ midday movement.
Had to scare off 2 spikes so I could climb down. I was cold and hungry. Warm and full now, I'll be back in the stand shortly. 30 minute break will be enough to get me until 2 when I move. Headed to the edge of a thicket later to get between it and cut corn.
