TOO Projects Thread

Nice work Guys!

The garage looks sweet Gordo. Good work on the kennel & landscaping Jesse. Sam, that's an awesome gift.

Not too many projects to contribute this summer for me, but I've been enjoying seeing all your projects come along. Keep up the good work!

Put in 11 hours outside today taking back my property after all these recent storms tore it to hell. Fixed the kennel and got everything reclaimed around it, seeded and mulched. Cleaned up a ton of debris and cleaned out my culverts/ditch lines. Burnt up a bunch of trash and downed limbs. Pruned some trees. Spent 4 hours on the mower and 2 with a weedeater in my hands. I'm whipped!

I got 4 hours of push mowing in. Still have at least another 4 hours left to do, though.

The good news is I got all of the hard stuff out of the way. I hate the creek bed as it is always a pain, but I finally figured out how to halfway drop the mower over the edge of the creek for the high weeds (without losing it!). Now only 20% of it will need weed-whacked.

I'll need to have a big bonfire once the yard is back in shape.

That's a lot of pushin Diane! I feel your pain!!!

I have a double header tonight so today project is easy on the body. My sprayer doesn't mount to my quad properly, so I'm building a base for it and hopefully spraying plots later.

It could have been prettier, but I just used whatever leftover stuff I had laying around. I'm spraying plots tomorrow evening, so I will know how she works then.

Very cool Sam! Did you think of it on your own, or something spark an idea?

Jesse, house looks good. I need to check it out in person one of these days and meet that beautiful little girl of yours. Nice work on the sprayer, and Huck, that's just being resourceful!

I did the same thing with some lumber I had laying around after building the shed. My neighbor told me he had a 9' piece of bowling alley and asked if I had any use for it. Heck ya - great work bench top! Only 20" deep, helps keep it clean and is flush with inside of garage door, allowing second vehicle in the garage finally.

Still need to attach trim, vise and clean it up, but much better over the previous setup.

Next project: Add wheels (and hey, why not some clearance and ergonomics into it also) to genny.

5cent, I'm not that creative I saw a very similar one on a farm forum and copied it. I've heard bowling alley makes a creat work bench, I think they use hard maple. It sure looks nice.
