In the final hrs. of being 39, I recorded a new PR for a 5K, lol. Shaved almost 3mins off from last year. A few more years of this and I'll be in the "normal" range🤣!

The sub-200lb goal is within reach. My last weigh in was 204.3lbs a few days ago, and after that workout just now, I'm on a strict Miller Lite bottle diet for the rest of the night.

A good healthy shit + dehyrdration = 🤞for 199lb something as a 40yr old ass man when I wake tomorrow AM😄.

Goals are made to smash, can't say I did that quite yet, but I gave her hell while continuing to figure out how to live at the same time. For that, I say 🍻.

I’m down 35 lbs this year. I’ve only missed 11 days of working out this year. I’m pushing 120 straight days without missing a workout including my travels. Simply staying disciplined. Like Adam said for himself, I’m in arguably my best shape in a decade and a half. I put on a pair of jeans tonight that I haven’t worn for 15 years.

I had a good heart-to-heart with myself around the campfire in TN. I want to be a functional grandfather some day and I won't be able to do that if I my habits are what they've been since COVID disrupted a solid 4 year run of turning things around. So I'm here to report in for Day 1 of my latest accountability journey with my TOO brothers. I'm 226.5 today, which means I have 26.5#s to lose to be back where I need to be. Goal #1 is to focus on establishing a new morning and evening routine that prioritizes my health. I'll shed 5#s this week just by getting back to normal and "flushing" vacation out of my system. Tracie is joining me and our goal is to lose 10% of our current weight over the next 12-16 weeks. My habits have impacted her, along with a job change that makes her more sedentary, so for the first time in her 38 years, she's focused on losing weight too. Doing it together should helps us both!

Father's day gift was a Garmin Instinct watch. Fucker is loaded with data, but this little fella seems spot on for battery level, except the stress. That's reinforced when comparing the stress specific results, which is accurate. Weird mix of results, so I'll just look at each individually.

An overall gage of how worn out I feel & so far after 2 days, with decent differences in levels, feels pretty accurate. I'm intrigued what the next 30 days hold.

Stress is that one thing I couldn't measure that can definitely impact BP. I'm still on the lowest dose, but hopefully with a little healthier living and this info, I can drop that 1 and only script.

I've lost a bunch of weight and bulk during my recovery (I had Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion in March). That's OK. I don't need to be bulky anymore. My workouts are getting better every week with increased strength and muscle control. Get CUT at 50.

That is the first smart watch that has interested me. I like it. Might even like it enough to want one. Keep us updated on it, please.

I never wore a watch until I got one. Now, I feel naked without it. If you're thinking about a smart watch, this is the one to go with IMO.

I'm down 4 lbs since January just by actually watching what and when i eat.

I'm going to continue trying to make good dietary choices to keep that going.

Once we move into the house I'm buying a treadmill. There are not good roads to walk/run on in my area so this will do. Yes i know that's pushingit down the path but i don't have a spacefor it in the current home. Even 20-30 minutes of walking will help get my Cardio increased and that should help me be more like $0.05 and removing scripts.

I tried a cheap one last year, took it off after a few weeks. I didn't want one, but so far so good. She went looking for a different make/model then the worker mentioned it and she did some more research and decided to buy the Garmin.

Accurate, loaded with shit ton of info, large face, but very light and comfortable. Pretty customizable, but old school LED layout. Thing is like surprisingly light, made me smile😀

i want one but want to reward myself for running consistently and dropping below 200# before i buy it.

Down 3+ #s over the course of the last week, but more importantly, I set a good pace for better habits. I'd give myself a B+ on the week, so there's room for improvement. I was down 6, then got a little heavy handed with the beer over the weekend and I rebounded. My biggest hurdle is squeezing in exercise, especially with several 10-12 hour work days a week. I busted my ass around the farm over the weekend, so I certainly ended the week on a calorie deficit, but I need to be doing stuff M-Th too. I'm pretty sure I want a bike, I just need to pull the trigger and do it.
