This is a high fat, moderate protien, extremely low carb method of eating. You should get 50%+ of your calories from healthy fats, one gram of protien per pound of lean muscle mass (Actual Weight - (Actual Weight * Body Fat %) and need to restrict carbs to under 100 per day, especially the first month. I shoot for 2,400 calories a day (and try to burn and least 600 through exercise). I eat gluten free 95% of the time and 99% of the time I am eating without consuming artificial ingredients or added sugars. I stay under 25 grams of sugar per day.
As I said, I feel great. My bowels are regulated and I no longer get cramps and after eating. I sleep better than I have my whole life. I wake up refreshed and without all the aches and pains. I am a much healthier person and it has been well worth the sacrifices!
