Mandatory Backstraps the night before season opener. Fuckin delicious

I hate having the wife around when I cook. She does tend to be useful when I can't find something. I just hate it though. She believes in recipes ... not just " eyeballing & guesstimating.

Smoking my second brisket in the morning. Starting around 7am and doing it the same way I did my first one.
It’s in the fridge now but I’ll get it out at 5am to let it get to room temp before laying it in the smoker. Sprayed it down with my mop sauce and rub it down good.
This rub combo is AWESOME just sayin
BTW, this one is 7.75lbs.

You need to try the Great Value brand jalepeno/cheddar bratwurst patties. Here I have a egg w/ mushroom brat sandwich topped with honey dijon.
