Smokers Welcome: Official Scent Smoker Thread

So far behind. Probably should get my stuff washed this week. Smoke it up before hitting the stand is what I do.

Got my stuff dried and had to run them inside a spell till this light rain goes thru but will be smoking them up tonight or tomorrow for storage.

Well done, Brian! The Amish are burning off an old clearcut across from one of the properties we hunt. Mason and I were out there the other day. He took a big sniff and said, "Now, it smells like deer season". Ha.

Wow....Never heard of this...Sounds interesting. Going to have to give it a try. And to think every time im out in Illinois and my friends wife his burning leaves I go way around her... Ric thanks for pointing this out. If I remember correctly my Dad used something similiar for honey bees.

The deer will smell the smoke but as long as you are concealed well and don't get caught moving or make any unnatural sounds like a sweaky stand or other metal to metal sounds they'll likely settle down but you have to know when to move and read the deers body language. That is key TOO!

It's gettin close boys!
Gettin everything smoked up inside the blind today.
Man i love that smell.
Dont forget to do your bow and arrows.

This will be my first year smoking up. Didn't get around to trying it last year mainly because I already had my routine, but I trust these guys. If they were getting busted by deer & it didn't work I know for sure they wouldn't be doing it.
