Off to fresh start. Went to gym for chest workout an hour ago. There was nobody there. Perfect for me, lol. Did what I needed to do. I'm now weighing 239.2

Feeling very good. Down 26lbs now. I've been laying block (job)and cutting and splitting firewood. Been trying to stay moving later at home than just dark. Limiting processed food and sugar. I haven't done a typical workout yet. My 5 year old and I did push ups this morning and I haven't felt this strong ever I think. When it warms up a bit I'd like to start running some to burn out my lungs. 4lbs till goal........

Anyone looking for a little incentive, you should check out @goruck on Instagram. They have a Rucking Challenge for March that's raising $ for Pets for Patriots. You pledge a # of miles that you'll walk carrying a pack and in partnership with your canine buddy. I pledged 25 miles ($35 donation) for the month and I'll receive a patch for participating. Running is getting to be too hard on my knees and with shed season upon us, this is a great way to kill a few birds with one stone.

Check it out if you get a chance!

Reached a goal. My wife and I said late fall until Easter our goal was 30lbs. I felt trim today so I stepped on the scale. 206 to 174 today. I think I weighed this as a junior in high school. Zero normal exercise. Hard physical work at work and home. Try to never be at rest until bed. I'm hoping this winter is over to start running here and there. Life is easier when you feel good! Time for pig and eggs!

First time I’ve been home in a couple of weeks...I’ll get my fat ass on the scale when I go downstairs, see how bad I failed myself again. Damn beer is so good though!

I am 50 years old, 6-2, and weighed 230 New Years day. I quit eating fast food nearly everyday for lunch and I’m now down to 217.

I must be getting light headed because i signed up for a half marathon. I haven’t ran since i left Ft Sill 31 years ago. 32 weeks to train.

5 more days until I complete the 30 day challenge on my abs. This is only the first level. 2nd level is gonna get tough I weigh 237 now.
How long did it take for the ab workouts not to suck? I'd like to start ab ripper x 3times a week in the mornings with my wife to get the ball rolling for her.

About a week and a half . I hated it but didnt give up. I'm getting used to it now. The next level I'm about to do is gonna be hard. So, I'm gonna have to step up my game and see if I still got it.

My wife wants to do another 30-day challenge with her mother, so I'm joining in with the goal of getting to 195 or below. I'm going to go super strict this time when it comes to diet, but I'll also be giving up alcohol in an effort to correct some recent negative behavior on my part. I've joined a gym again, so exercise will be a big part of this challenge for me. The goal is to set the tone for the rest of the year by wiping the slate clean and getting as disciplined as possible.
