Pretty sure this wide 10 is the wide 8 from last year.

That's retarded!!! Can you imagine hauling that fuggin' rack around every where you went!?! Especially when it was sensitive?!?

Imagine dragging it through corn that's planted maybe 18 inches apart. lol

I didn't target him last season in hopes he would do more this year. Doesn't look like he'll do much better. But the top picture was on the 28th and the bottom one was the 16th of last season. If we go by the inch a day rule he should put on about 19 inches by the 16th.. Besides being a 10 pt he'll be about the same.. Time to add him to the list of those needing a slick trick.

I would def say thats him! The extra point hasnt done much for him but hes still an impressive deer just short tined

Agreed.. I'm willing to bet this new 8pt that's with him will outscore him once all is said and done.

He's a nice one dude. I'm not 100% convinced it's the same buck, though. He looked to have more mass last year, and those brow tines don't show much resemblance IMO.

I agree, but I know he's spent more time pouring over those pics than I. But those are the first two things that stick out to me. The other thing I notice is the G2's were taller than the 3's last year, not so this year. How much of that is timing, or genetics in a different rack, I don't know. Just something I notice. How common are the super wide racks in that area?

Not very common. I've never gotten a picture of another deer that wide. Even last season there were no "up and comers" that wide. And this is the exact same block he was at last season.

Don't forget also that deer this time of year will put on about an inch a day until Mid this month, and this years pic is 19 days earlier than the one from last season. He has about 19 more inches to put on for the pics to be equal.

Yeah, he is the kind of width that doesn't just show up over night. And with how "isolated" cover is up there, it's hard to believe a mirror image buck would be in his neck of the woods. Fuggin' deer gets my motor running though! I love super wide deer like that!!!

Here are some more of him.. His right side looks a little weak but he's still a shooter in my book.
