yes, three times. looked about the same each time. nice. looks can be deceiving. how was it?

It was perfect. Both were. The long and slow was also done in apple cider vinegar marinade for 8 hours. It had more flavor and was more tender.

Marinade was

1 gallon of apple cider vinegar
1 gallon water
1 bottle of lime (squirter size)
1 container of ground cumin
1/2 container of smoked paprika

Dry rub an hour before cooking was that weber brisket mix pictured earlier.

If I was to do another one, I'd do it exactly the same. Thats why I just documented it

I had been messing around with my charcoal smoker past couple weeks.

Two weeks ago I’ve done the wings for the first time and it turned out great. Last week I had done the drumsticks. Wasn’t too bad, it was juicy though. Maybe the rub I put on it wasn’t what I wanted. I would like to continue doing the drumsticks until I get the taste I’m looking for.

So this weekend I will be doing the pork shoulder 8 lbs. Gonna see how I’ll do with that. Bought all the bbq and rub. Gonna decide what kind to use.
